Mai 24th, 2012: "PROFIBUS® and PROFINET® meet LabVIEW".
PROFIBUS® and PROFINET® industrial networks used with PAC technology by National Instruments.
SITEM organizes a workshop, with the goal to provide basis of most diffused industrial communication technologies (PROFIBUS® and PROFINET®) and of Embedded National Instruments solutions, showing possible integration between the two "worlds".
SITEM will have the expert cooperation of Genoa Fieldbus Competence Centre and support from National Instruments, SITEMs' certified Partner.
The Workshop will take place starting at 9:30 in Sala Turchese at SPS, Viale Delle Esposizioni, 393, 43126 Parma.
The Workshop is free but registration is needed.

 Genoa Fieldbus Competence Centre introduces COMbricks, the new Solution for Monitoring and remote Diagnostics of PROFINET® and PROFIBUS® networks, through a web browser.
COMbricks integrates new features, as integrated ProfiTrace and Oscilloscope.
By mean of SCOPE repeaters it is now possible to perform all troubleshooting operations remotely through a web browser.
COMbricks is the unique solution with integrated oscilloscope for permanent remote monitoring on Ethernet network.
Through web server it is possible to view the oscilloscope images of all connected devices and the bargraph of the whole network segment.

The first Italian "Certified PROFIsafe Designer" are in Genoa !
October 20, 2011: Our Experts have positively run all exams and have received, first in Italy, the TÜV Certificate
“Certified PROFIsafe Designer”
The quality of PROFIsafe products and systems depends largely on the know-how and the quality of the Developement Team and on used methodologies and procedures.
PI International, in cooperation with TÜV, organised a specialised training course, which took place in Karlsruhe (Germany) enabling to guarantee the necessary competence level to operators of PROFIsafe technology and in Safety environment.
This 3-days session included a written exam at the end of each day.
Our Experts have positively run all tests and received the TÜV “Certified PROFIsafe Designer” Certificate.
Our Company is strongly engaged in the Safety domain, thanks also to the large experience acquired in years, also at international regulations level.
July 18, 2011: our Company become a part, the only one in Italy, in FDT Group.
FDT Group is an international Association of enterprises, based in Bruxelles, which develop and support FDT technology, recognized as standard IEC-62453.
The FDT technology permits to standardize the configuration and communication interface between the field devices and control and automation systems (PLC/DCS/PCS).

March 11, 2011: our Company has been certified as a "PROFIBUS and PROFINET Training Center" (PITC) by Mr. Dennis Van Booma.
At the end of the audit of: laboratory, available devices and Training Kits and the adopted Quality System, Mr. Van Booma declared that Genoa Fieldbus Competence Centre has all requisites to provide Certified Trainings for PROFIBUS® and PROFINET® in Italy and abroad.
